I've been reading texts and articles and websites surrounding Black Quantum Futurism for a while now. But as of late I find the theory of relying on non-western theories of time and applying it to my life more comfortable since time seems to be blurring together in Quarantine.

Jack Whitten has been an inspiration of mine ever since I was out of college. After I purchased this book which contains notes and theory from his studio logs and reading it, the book has become a comforting solace in my creative journey

Black Voices: An Anthology of Afro-American Literature

This book is a great staple in my opinion, filled with poetry, stories, and theory, with texts by Richard Wright, Langston Hughes, Malcolm X, James Baldwin, and plenty of others! I love flipping through the pages, knowing where I land there will be something that speaks to me.
